Change the following sentence from indirect to direct speech.

Answer: Prity asked (me), 'Have you read this book?'

Explanation: This is the answer because  have is the form of 'had' you use in direct speech. Also, the "me" appearing in between is optional, since it says that Prity asked YOU if you had read the book, so when referring to yourself, you add me. It's not really mandatory, though.
