  • Indirect Speech

✓ Direct Speech:- Those reporting words which are said directly by the speaker is known as direct speech.

E.g.:- He said, "I won't play today."

✓ Indirect Speech:- Those reporting words which have necessary changes in it are known as indirect speech.

E.g.:- He said that he won't play today.
