Rules of changing Direct speech into indirect speech :-

★ The inverted commas are omitted in the indirect speech.

★ The tense of the reporting verb should never be changed .

★ We use a joiner or linker before the indirect speech .

★ The first letter within inverted commas will not remain capital after changing narration .

★ The pronoun should be changed according to the sense of the speech .
