Geeta said that they were appearing the board exam that year.

•My mother said to my sister,"Haven't you prepared yet".

My mother asked my sister if she hadn't prepared yet.

•Teacher said to us,"You told a lie yesterday to the principal".

Teacher told us that we had told a lie the previous day to the principal.

•Gopal said to Priyanka,"Can you lift this table"?

Gopal asked Priyanka if he could lift that table.
