ii) She is working in this school since 1920.

iii) If it rains, we shall not go out.

Points to note:-

  • Since is used when an event is still happening which has started in past.

  • In a passive voice , action becomes more important than a doer.

  • In active voice , just happens vice versa of the passive voice. ie. doer become more important than action.

There are three known tenses.

  1. Past tense.
  2. Present tense.
  3. Future tense.

- Past tense is obvious to describe event happened in past.

- Present is something that is happening at present, in the given instance of time.

- Future tense is something that is surely or likely to happen in future.
