Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: I am answering a question. (Active)

A question is being answered by me. (Passive)

NOTE: Sentences that convey habitual actions cannot be changed into passive mode.

I shall teach you. (Active)

You shall be taught by me. (Passive)
