The assertive sentences will be :
1. Jayesh is a brilliant cricketer.
2. We are not going to let him bully us.
3. Let's not ever forget your kindness.
4. This is the way you show your gratitude to him.
5. Let me ever forgive Sanchita.
Transformation:
- The interrogative form of a sentence is changed and converted into an assertive form by eliminating the question tag from its original form.
- The vice versa is done to form an interrogative or question form of a statement.
- Just as for example 1- The question tag "is not", so we take that out and the simple/assertive statement becomes "Jayesh is a brilliant cricketer".
- All the examples will have the same process except for examples 3 and 4.
- These are exceptions to the question tag, the auxiliary verb 'shall' is used in cases to add a question tag where the statement starts from 'let'.
- So definitely the assertive statements for those examples will begin from 'Let' and then be followed by the rest.
