changing direct into indirect speech :)
1) He said, " I live in the city center. " ( present simple)

2) He said, "I'm going out . " (Present continuous)

3) He said, "I've finished. " ( present perfect continuous)

4) He said, "I've been studying a lot. " ( present perfect continuous)


5) He said, "I'm going to call Alan. " ( be going to)

• Rules for changing Direct Speech into Indirect speech :-

★ The inverted commas are omitted in the indirect speech.

★ The tense of the reporting verb should never be changed.

★ We use a linker before the Indirect speech.

★ The first letter within inverted commas will not remain capital after changing narration.

★ The pronouns should be changed according to the sense of the speech.
