Q1) What do you mean by cell theory? Explain.
Cell theory states that living things are composed of one or more cells, that the cell is the basic unit of life, and that cells arise from existing cells

Q2) What happens when RBCs are placed in hypotonic solution
When a cell is placed in a hypotonic environment, water will enter the cell, and the cell will swell. Diagram of red blood cells in hypertonic solution(shriveled), isotonic solution (normal), andhypotonic solution (puffed up and bursting).
3) What do you mean by membrane biogenesis?
Membrane biogenesis is the process that involves cell membrane development with the aid of proteins and lipids. The production of these membranes is driven by the endoplasmic reticulum. Membranessynthesized by the membrane biogenesis process help to divide the cell into functional and structural compartments.

Q4) Why is ATP known as energy currency of the cell?
ATP – Adenosine triphosphate is called the energy currency of the cell. It is the organic compound composed of the phosphate groups, adenine, and the sugar ribose. These molecules provideenergy for various biochemical processes in the body. Therefore, it is called “Energy Currency of the Cell”.

Write the components of a nucleus in a eukaryotic cell
in division of nucleus the chromatin forms a definite number of thread like structures called chromosome which contain heredity units in their surface, called gene. chemically chromatin consist of DNA and RNA. nucleolus: in each nucleus one or more globular bodies are present called nucleolus

Answer:

A1.Cell theory states that living things are composed of one or more cells, that the cell is the basic unit of life, and that cells arise from existing cells.

A2. When a cell is placed in a hypotonic environment, water will enter the cell, and the cell will swell. ... If placed in a hypotonic solution, a red blood cell will bloat up and may explode, while in a hypertonic solution, it will shrivel—making the cytoplasm dense and its contents concentrated—and may die.

A3.Membrane biogenesis is the process that involves cell membrane development with the aid of proteins and lipids. ... Membranes synthesized by the membrane biogenesis process help to divide the cell into functional and structural compartments. Entire cell membranes are called endomembranes.

A4.ATP – Adenosine triphosphate is called the energy currency of the cell. It is the organic compound composed of the phosphate groups, adenine, and the sugar ribose. These molecules provide energy for various biochemical processes in the body. Therefore, it is called “Energy Currency of the Cell”.

A5.The nucleus is an organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Inside its fully enclosed nuclear membrane, it contains the majority of the cell's genetic material. This material is organized as DNA molecules, along with a variety of proteins, to form chromosomes.
