1. Ans- To indentify materials based on their hardness I will try to compress the materials. If the materials are not compressed than the materials are hard.

2. Solid materials that dissolve in water are called soluble materials.

Solid materials that do not dissolve in water are called insoluble materials.

3. We need to classify or group things around us because grouping makes it easier for us to find things when we need them.

5. When chalk powder and sand are added to water than both are not dissolve in water because they are solid materials.

6. When kerosene oil and cooking oil are added to water than both are not dissolve in water because they are immicible in water.
