After Independence, our Constitution granted equal rights to men and
women in all spheres. However, after 73 years of Independence, gender
equality has not been achieved. What steps should we as citizens take to
address this problem?

as a citizen to promote gender equality one can provide equal education as well as job opportunities all citizens irrespective of their gender. To achieve complete equality there should be social acceptance provided for all genders. There should be laws and schemes to uplift the females of the society. As a citizen when one witnesses inequality between the genders they should spread awareness and uplift and provide help to the best of their abilities and invoke the law to provide justice as well as equality
