chapter 6linear equation question 1. one tenth of a number is two less than one seventh of its predecessor. find the number.

in question it said that we have to find the linear equation as well as to solve

predecessor means -1 to the equation will be:-

=> 1/10 × 2 - 1/6

according to BODMAS rule:-

=> 1/5 - 1/6

=> 6-5/30

=> 1/30
