chapter=construct geometry

is it possible to construct a quadrilateral in which AB =8cm, BC=4cm, CD=5.4cm, DA=5.9cm and diagonal AC =8cm? If not ,why?​

because if abcd has two be a quadrilateral then it has to be two triangles which has one common side and in this case the common side is ac but a triangle has a property that one of its side is always greater than the sum of the other two sides.But if we consider triangle abc ac is not greater than ab+bc so abc is not a triangle. Also if we consider triangle acd there also ac is not greater than the ad+cd so acd is also not a triangle

therefore abcd is not a quadrilateral
