the light of the chapter, describe how Gerrard used

the skills learnt from his profession to trap the

Gerrard tells him that he himself is a criminal and that the police is coming to arrest him.He proposed to escape toghether, but instead Gerrard ends up locking the intruder into the cupboard.Gerrard was professionally a playwright , so he knew how he could trap the intruder by acting infront of him.
