 \frac{y}{2}  -  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{y}{3}  +  \frac{1}{4}

 =  >  \frac{y - 1}{2}  =  \frac{4y + 3}{12}

 =  > 12(y - 1) = 2(4y + 3)

 =  > 12y - 12 = 8y + 6

 =  > 12y - 8y = 6 + 12

 =  > 4y = 18

 =  > y =  \frac{18}{4}

 =  > y =  \frac{9}{2}
