My Childhood is an extract from A.P.J. Kalam’s autobiography.

Sivasubramania Iyer, was Kalam’s science teacher in school and he was an orthodox Brahmin.

His wife refused to provide food to Kalam. Kalam was invited by Iyer and Iyer served the foods to Kalam and other children himself.

He never forced his wife to serve the foods to Muslims, but he firmly stated an example through his own activity.
