Your Solution:

5) As x and 50° lie on same side of transversal. So, the total angle formed is 180°.

x + 50 = 180

》x = 180 - 50

》x = 130°

∴ Option (C)

6) As 65° and a lie on same side of transversal. So, the total angle formed is 180°.

a + 65 = 180

》a = 180 - 65

》a = 115

∴ Option (C)

7) The Complementary angle of 45° is 45°.

Complementary angle = 90°

Suppose the angle is "x".

x + 45 = 90

》x = 90 - 45

》x = 45°

∴ Option (B)

8) The Complementary angle of 89° is .

Complementary angle is 90°.

Let the unknown angle be "a".

So, a + 89 = 90

》a = 90 - 89

》a = 1°

∴ Option (A)

9) If two angles are Complement to each other and are equal, then the angles are (45°, 45°).

Consider "y" be the angle then ATQ, the other angle should be y°.

So, The Total angle in a Complementary angle is 90°.

So, y + y = 90

》2y = 90

》y = 90/2

》y = 45°

∴ Option (C)

I hope you got it.
