a)Green revolution was introduced in the late 1960. It help the Indian farmer to cultivate wheat and rice using high yield variety seeds. The farmer of Punjab, haryana and western uttar Pradesh used high yield variety seeds, better irrigation facilities ,chemical fertilizers , pesticides etc to increase production. Many farmers bought farm machinery like tractors and threshers which made ploughing and harvesting faster. They also led to high yielding of wheat and rice in India.
