The equation of directrix is x= -10, which is parallel to Y-axis.

Therefore,

let the equation of parabola be

y^2 = 4ax -----(1)

Its focus is ( a , 0 ) which is given to be ( 10 , 0 ).

ie. a = 10

From equation (1),

eqation of parabola is given by,

y^2 = 40x

The equation of directrix is y = -5 , which is parallel to X-axis.

Therefore,

let the equation of parabola be

y^2 = 4bx -----(1)

Its focus is ( 0 , b ) which is given to be ( 0 , 5 ).

ie. b = 5

From equation (1),

eqation of parabola is given by,

x^2 = 20y

The equation of directrix is x + 5 = 0 ie. x = -5 , which is parallel to Y-axis.

Therefore,

let the equation of parabola be

y^2 = 4ax -----(1)

Its focus is ( a , 0 ) which is given to be ( -3 , 0 ).

ie. a = -3

From equation (1),

eqation of parabola is given by,

y^2 = -12x
