• Yeast converts sugar into alcohol by a process called Fermentation.

• This process takes place without he help of oxygen ie it is Anaerobic process

b. Respiration occurs at optimum temperature

• Respiration is the process of break down of food particles to liberate energy occurring in both plants and animals and is largely an enzyme mediated process.

• Enzymes  are biological catalysts that catalyse the reaction only particular temperature ( below it ---- no reaction , Above the temperature -- Denaturation)

c. Respiration is said to be reverse of photosynthesis.

• Respiration is the process of break down of food particles to liberate energy occurring in both plants and animals and is largely an enzyme mediated process.
• Photosynthesis is the making of food particles from inorganic sources such as CO2 and H2O and are made in plants only and is also an enzyme mediated process.

• Hence we can see that both are antagonist
