•Even though the DAV schools and the MAO College were setup by different religions, there is a similarity between them . In both educational institutions English education has been adapted and modern subjects were also taught.

• It was fortunate that the the situation of bitterness between Muslims and British after 1857. In 1857 there was a sepoy mutiny broke out. In that mutiny the Muslim sepoys also participated in a large number. Before this mutiny British felt that the hindus only opposed their rule in India but Muslims welcomed them . But after mutiny it was cleared that not only hindus but also Muslims opposed the cruel rule of British. Hence from then there was bitterness started between Muslims and British after 1857.
