Q 1 - " Wangari realised that to overcome hunger and lack of water , they need to reforest area . What did she feel they had to do for successful reforestation /

She decided that something was to plant trees so she begin to green belt movement in a small nursery in her garden . Wangari realised that to fix the enviorment she had to fight and democracy.

Q  2 - Mention the ways in which  the planting helped Wangari's movement ?

She begin the greenbelt in a small nursery in her garden which later grew into a huge organisation on that has planted millions of trees in Africa.

Q 3 - How do commercial plantations effect the enviorment ?

Deforestation had occured as in many other places in the world because forest had been cut down to grow cash crop for export or to build high rise buildings had to pushed women and children into poverty and hunger.

Q  4 - Wangari was very successful and could have  led a peaceful and comfortable life . Do you think this is true ? Why did she not lead a comfortable life ?

Yes , Wangari was very successful and could have a comfortable and peaceful life  because on her return to Kenya she found that widespread deforestation  had caused terrible malnutrition and femine was widespread. she was deeply touched and thought that something  should be done to save the enviorment.

Q 5 - According to Wangari Mathai , where the solution of our problem come from ? In what way it is different from what the people believed ?

According to Wangari Mathai , the solution of our problem comes from within while the people believes that the solutions of their problem must come from outside.
