Hii frnd...
Mitochondria have two membranes Inner and Outer.
1) Outer membrane is continuous and inner membrane is discontinuous.
2) Outer membrane do not have cristae and Inner membrane have cristae.
3) Outer membrane is freely permeable whereas Inner membrane is Semi-permeable.
4) Outer membrane have few cardiolipins and Inner membrane have more cardiolipins.
5) In outer membrane (Protein=80% Lipid=20%) and in Inner membrane (Protein=60% Lipid=40%)
6)Outer membrane contains porins.
Hope it helped u :)

hey friend here is your answer
☆Character of mitochondria
•They are typically sausage shaped or cylindrical shape.
•Each mitochondrian is a double membrane-bound structure with the outer memberane and the inner membrane dividing its lumen distinctly into two compartment I; e the outer compartment(perimitochondrial space) and the inner compartment matrix.
•They are present in almost all cell of the body except in RBC.
•They are freely floating in the cytoplasm and stay in the region of high energy requirement.
•Mitochondria have their own genetic material as a single standed DNA.
