Connie Mackpherson was wife of Mr Jim Mackpherson.... Mr Jim was an army..... Between to soldiers one war was fought but both the soldiers had the same view that war only bought deadth and destruction... Jim had written a letter to Connie by what was happening on a Christmas day with Jim.... Connie lost the letter when her house caught fire..... And the burnt up things had been sold to a junk shop.... the narrator had fought the letter and gave it back to her..... now she was hundred and one year old... she thinks that the narrator was her husband Jim... and she also
