Albert was a man who was interested in the field of acting. He was very much looking forward to playing his role in his first performance as a police constable. He was very excited to play his part but also nervous that he would miss his part in the play or do something wrong which would destroy his performance.

He did have stage fright but he overcame this once he was on stage. He got a boost in his confidence.

He began to feel better by Mrs.Bostocks kind words. Albert is a man who prefers to be early and not late, for anything important in his life.
