Lencho: Lencho was a dedicated agriculturist.He worked extremely hard on his fields.However he was a simpleton as he had a steadfast believe on the existence of almighty.He wrote to almighty for his help and wasn't even shaken when he got the requested money,which shows us his firm believe .He did not appreciate the noble deed performed by the postmaster and instead held him guilty for the theft of money.

Peggy:Peggy was a rich background holder.She had a noble heart and a clear conscience which is shown by her protecting the children from bullies,seeing animals being mistreated and crying eventually etc.However she had arrogant behaviour towards Wanda.She would always tease her and that never made her cry.

Later on she didn't felt much sorry for her behaviour.

Maddie: Maddie was a noble girl. She hated teasing Timid Wanda about her possessions.She herself was as poor as wanda but had a better name and Peggy's company which disguised her background.She was a girl with a steadfast heart and made a firm decision of never teasing anyone or allowing the same to happen.She was eager to apologise to Wanda.

Valli: Valli was a strong,determinant and adventurous girl.She wanted something over prosaic lifestyle and thus decided to travel bus alone.She inquired about the arrival and departure of bus. She had a steep control on herself as she was able to save the money for ride by killing her desires.She had an irritable attitude like that of a young child.

• The Mother seagull who is the source of support for this young seagull. She is the sole confident builder. She even takes the bold step of pushing her offspring form the cliff to eschew his fear. She is a perfect example of how a mother should be.  
• The next main character is the Young Seagull father who is the sole breadwinner of the family.  
• The rest are the Siblings of the young seagull. They cheer for their brother for his first flight along with their father offering moral and mental support to him.
