Anne was the main characters of The diary of a young girl.Shewas born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, and was four years old when her father moved to Holland to find a better place for the family to live. She is very intelligent and perceptive, and she wants to become a writer. Anne grows from an innocent, tempestuous, precocious, and somewhat petty teenage girl to an empathetic and sensitive thinker at age fifteen. Over the course of the diary, she grows from a spoiled, somewhat naive young girl of thirteen to a self-aware young woman of fifteen. Although she has little political consciousness at the beginning of the diary, she grows to question anti-Semitism and the point of war. During her time in the annex, she suffers from boredom, despair, and the petty persecution of those around her. She also discovers a wealth of good qualities in herself. After the annex residents are discovered, she goes to the concentration camp at Belsen, in Germany, where she dies before her sixteenth birthday. Anne dies of typhus in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen in late February or early March of 1945.

• Anne was born on june 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany.

• She was four years old when her father moved to Holland to find a better place for the family to live.

• She was very intelligent and perceptive, and wanted to become a writer.

• She loved Peter and had strong feeling for him.

• She even had to face opposition from her parents in this regard but she kept on meeting him.

• Anne was also a good reader.

• Though in hiding she kept reading something or the other every day to continue her studies.

• She was interested in reading the bibles and Greek and Roman mythology.

• She also wanted to become a journalist.

• Like any other child she loved her parents but later developed a dislike for her mother as she used to compare her to Margot, her elder sister whom she felt jealous.

• She always had a feeling that her father loved her more than her mother.

• Anne was an optimistic girl who learnt from her sufferings.

• Anne died of typhus in the concentration camp at Bergen Belsen in late feb or early march of 1945.
