As compared to their counterpart, the Lilliputians, the Blefuscudians were less self-absorbed and did not demand much out of Gulliver. They too followed the Blundecral, and boasted of a great navy. They do not ask Gulliver to do the silly things that the Lilliputians wanted him to do, and it is them who help Gulliver escape when he faces a death threat from the Lilliputians.

The Blefuscudians are miniature people whom Gulliver meets on his first voyage They have conspiracies and jealousies with the Lilliputians. They do not agree with the interpretation of a common holy scripture regarding the proper way to eat eggs. So they have a longstanding war with the Lilliputians. They treat Gulliver well materially but take advantage of him in political intrigues.
