Amma is biased and discriminates between Chaambali and her daughters.
- Chaambali is a fictional character similar to that of Cinderella. She is a simple, hardworking and honest girl, who is treated like a servant by Amma and Amma's daughters Moti and Lambi. Amma is Chaambali’s aunt (her mother’s brother’s wife that is Uncle’s wife) Chaambali is treated like a servant and is made to do all the work of the house.
- She is not given any basic needs for her living. However, Chaambali's sufferings end when a prince comes in search of a girl to marry. He falls in love with Chaambali's gentle and sweet nature and marries her - life changes after that for Chaambali.
