Colonel Adye was chief of police in Burdock. At first his impression was to be a brave man.He comes to arrest the invisible man at Dr. Kemp's residence. Then we see him as a person who don't have his own opinion. He blindly followed Dr. Kemp asked him what to do. Instead of being a leader he was a follower.
Dr. Kemp was a scientist and old mate of Griffen, the invisible man. They had gone to the same college. He was a calm and sensible person. He was not afraid of Griffen. He lays ha own life on the line to get Griffen arrested. He was a brave man too. He raised awareness to the people in the town about Griffen. Though Griffen threatened him to kill him but he was not scared and tried his best to save himself as far as he could and at last he succeed.
so we can conclude that in comparison to both, Dr Kemp was a better man as he was brave and fought back against Griffen and succeed too.
