Explanation:

In the story “The Sound of Machine”, written by Roald Dahl, there are three main characters.

First Klausner, the patient of Dr. Scott. He was the man who invented the machine that could capture sounds. He worked towards this with great patience and meticulously too. While working he did seem a bit of nervous.

When he showed this a machine to Mrs. Sanders, who is the other character in the story, she was not very receptive. She was a woman who could not accept anything that was new and unbelievable and not within the normal norms.

Then Dr. Scott, a man who was of an understandable nature, of inquisitive type, and of a nervous type too but nonetheless a compassionate person when he took Klausner back home holding his hand.
