Evelyn Elizabeth Ann Glennie (born1965) is an acclaimed percussionist from Aberdeenshire in Scotland. Since the age of 11, she has been totallydeaf. She is supposed to have taught herself, how to register sounds using other parts of her body. She mostly plays barefoot at her concerts to 'feel' the music better.
