Glumdalclitch was the 9-year old daughter of the farmer who was 40-feet tall and in whose house Gulliver is brought upon his first entry in the country. She became a good friend of Gulliver and was a little nurse to him. Though young, she took good care of Gulliver and with utmost responsibility too. She was artistic enough to sew clothes for Gulliver, and tried to make his life easy among the other giants in Brobdingnag. No one except her was able to sense Gulliver's plight due to his laborious performances. Having genuine affection and concern for Gulliver, she felt delighted to carry him in his box case. She became so emotionally attached to him, that she could not bear parting from him. ok..
