HELEN KELLER'S MOTHER

Helen's mother had loved Helen unconditionally and had provided solid support to her in every venture. She had wept at her deprivations, tended to her with great tenderness and tolerated all the tantrum and violent outburst.sitting in her lap, Helen had noticed so much of the world. Her mother had trained her in many small errands, to dress up and make signs. She never scolded Helen for maltreating her younger sister, Mildred and Helen were given all extra privileges. She never gave up hope for Helen's education. She read Dickens's "American notes ", and tried to find if there were ways to teach deaf and the blind, after Dr Howe's death.

It was due to her untiring efforts and fortitude that Helen could graduate from the college and become independent in many ways.

Hope it helps..
