It was a cold night in January when Halku and his dog Jabra left home. Halku wanted Jabra will remain in the house but Jabra denied staying in the house without his master Halku.

The cold was unbearable and Halku collected some leaves and lit them. But he could not get enough warmth from this fire and Jabra started barking due to cold.

Then Halku picked Jabra from the field and encouraged him to feel asleep in his lap. Halku felt some bad smell from Jabra’s body, but he hugged him tight and experienced the utmost happiness as well as warmth during January night.
