Jerry Fisher was a boxing coach or trainer at White Hart, where Bill was training for the match. He was a hard trainer. He was proud of Bill and sure of his victory. Bit he was completely fed up with the decision of Bill not to play the match. He tried to convince Bill to change his mind. He reminded him of the handsome money that he would get by participating in the fight. To take his revenge, he wanted to spoke the truth of his profession to Harold.

Jerry fisher was a small, yellowish white-faced man. He was the trainer of Mr Bramble for number of years. Jerry wanted Mr Bramble to not quit the last match. He tried to convince Mr Bramble by reminding him about the money he would get from playing in that match and how much name and fame he would get. He told Bill to think of all the hardships he went through to prepare for this match and how much he has practiced day and night.
