Lilliput is a town on the beach of an ocean, consisting of 6 inch tall people that Gulliver landed in during his travels. The novel was written by Jonathan Swift.
The king of Lilliput is taller than all other Lilliputians. He is middle aged and is married. He has a daughter. He is comfortably placed in the kingdom. He is respected and his orders are followed. He was interested in war and also taking over neighbouring kingdoms. He respected Gulliver and tried to make use of his size and power to conquer the other kingdoms.
He exhibits a lot of confidence and bravery in all situations. He treated Gulliver very well and spent a lot of money for Gulliver. He left a lot of things to his ministers and was sometimes manipulated by them. He depended on them for ruling the country. He enjoyed his life. He gets angry with Gulliver when Gulliver refused to comply with his order to war over neigbouring kingdom.
The king loved his wife and his daughter. He was a normal and selfish ruler. He killed many people cruelly too.
