Lala Daudayal was one of the money lenders of the village. He was a kind-hearted man and was honest. Only he understood the feelings which Rehman had for his cow. He lended money to Rehman second time knowing this that he hadn't returned the money of the first loan. He respected Rehman a lot and thought that he was in doubt not Rehman as the cow he sold to him gave milk of more money than Rehman has taken.
