Lord Munodi was the Governor of Balnibarbi. He was a very humble person. He was patriotic and loyal to his King. He received Gulliver nicely which shows that he was very hospitable. He was a rational thinker and was demoted from his position in the State. He supported ancient methods of agriculture. He felt that the new methods had ruined the flourishing agriculture of the place. He can be considered the most sensible and practical Laputian.
