Answer:

Macbeth was a very ambitious character in the play "Macbeth". He was very brave and one of the most trusted people of King Duncan. He fell prey to the prophecies made by the three witches and this led to his fall. He became very ambitious when things started to turn according to the prophecies.

Macbeth goes from being a loyal and honorable soldier to a murderer and traitor. At the beginning of act 1 we hear him being described as 'valiant', 'brave' and 'noble'. Duncan, the king is so impressed by his nobility and bravery that he proclaims Macbeth the 'Thane of Cawdor'.His tragic flaw is pride that leads to ambition with the help of outside forces.
