Henry Baker

Mr. Henry Baker is a man that has gotten in the middle of something that came right at him. He's a tall, drunken, and a very unknown man in this story. He has a major part in this story by just having the goose with "The Blue Carbuncle". Baker is a man that has little known motivation in this short story but he does have some relationship. Baker needed to tell Holmes and Watson who he bought the bird from and that led to some connections that helped find James Ryder. Baker had been drunk one night and left his goose and bowler hat for Mr. Peterson unknowingly. Those two things gave almost all of the evidence to the scene. From the little known information, Baker is a drunk, he helped a lot with the investigation, and he was one big piece in this mysterious puzzle.
