CHARACTER SKETCH OF MR MERTON S KEITH :

Mr Merton S Keith was Helen's tutor.After Helen had withdrawn from the Cambridge for young ladies she continued her studies under Mr Keith.In October 1898 Helen and other members returned to Boston.For Eight months Mr Keith gave lessons for Helen Five times in a week,and in periods for about 1 hour.Mr Keith proved helpfull to Helen in sharpening the faculty of reasoning.Mr Keith was hardworking and patient.He took an considerable time to explain on what Helen did not understand.He inculcated Helen's heart for the love for mathematics to some  extent.He boosted Helen's morale and he made her feeling that she was not less than anybody.Mr Keith was relied much on Helen's ability to solve mathematical problem mentally.Mr Keith ws a devoted teacher and his devotion helped Helen to learn faster and do better that she had ever done in school.Mr Keith's way of teaching made Helen interesting and made her problems easier who did not like Maths
