✨She is one of the main characters in the story .one of the two daughters of Mr. Abel Merryweather, the wife of Mr.Henry Slater and a mother to a girl of ten , Victoria .

✨She is a self centered, money minded and boastful lady . She can stoop to any level for gaining material needs . On the death of her grand pa she is not concerned or grief sticken at the loss, what she is mindful is the mourning dress to flaunt in front of her sister Elizabeth.

✨It takes no time for her to start dividing her grand pa's belonging . She is also a Dominating wife . She forces Henry into shifting grand pa bureau as well as clock before the arrival of the Jordan's .

⭐Summing up , Amelia has been depicted as a very greedy , selfish and money minded women in the play .
