Odarka was a Russian Woman who lived her entire life in the shadow of a taboo. In her village, there was a tradition that every person has to plant a tree. But, the condition was that ,they can not eat the fruit from the tree for eight years if there is a death in their family. She believed in this Taboo, and one day, her tree bore fruit. And suddenly, one death occurred in her family, and for the next eight years, she was restricted and ,thus, didn't have the fruits. She told her children about the same taboo and prevented them from eating the fruits.
Although ,she was unable to give them a reasonable explanation about why they are unable to have fruits .but,she believed in it ,she conveyed the same to her children.
But as years rolled, many deaths occurred in her family, her children, father, and Nani were all gone .Till date, she was unable to taste the fruit.
At the time of war, the tree was cut by the soldiers, and the fruits get scattered on the ground.
Finally an old lady comes out of the taboo and tastes those fruits.
Now she is free from the myth and the taboo.
