Hey Mate here is your answer
Peter Van Daan was son of Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan who was the 2nd family in the annexe.
He was of 16 years old boy. In the start of the novel we can find him as a silly, lazy boy. But after a year we get to know more about Peter.
Anne and Peter fall for each other. Peter seems to be responsible when he forgets to fasten the door of annexe. He was really guilty for his act and was shamed. He was a not aware of the body of a girl so he asks Anne. Anne tells him everything about a girl's body.
Peter was surprised to know some things. Peter kisses Anne for the first time when they were sitting on the couch of Peters room.
Anne was really happy for her first kiss. Then they a day after doing a lot of work when Anne and Peter meet each other upstairs at there kissing point Anne kisses Peter on this cheek when she was just to kiss his other cheek there bitha mouth meets and it was a liplock. Then Anne rushed down the stairs.
Now Peter seems to be a person not completely mentally developed as per his age as the observation of Anne. Peter touches a part of Anne's body which no one ever has touched expect in her dreams. Peter agrees Anne to tell all to her Father being a responsible man
Hope this helps You

Answer:

Peter van Daan was a shy, awkward and quiet boy of sixteen. He was thoughtful, sensitive, sensible and observant, different from his loud and brash parents. Reticent and reclusive, he was unlike other boys and Anneinitially misjudged him to be a hypochondriac, hypersensitive and lazy.
