Answer:
Richard Ebright was a versatile personality. He was a scientific genius, a canoeist, an expert photographer, a debater, and many more.
He had a driving curiosity and liked to learn about many things in his young days only. Whenever he was free his mother used to give him things to learn and she also says that he liked learning. He also used to get top grades in school.
He was always steadfast and didn't give up very early. In his seventh grade he had lost in the county science fair and did not win anything whereas every other person had won something or the other. He was really sad but he had learnt what mistake he had made.
The next year he had come back and won the county science fair in his eighth grade. This shows us that he used to learn from his mistakes.
Richard Ebright had all the ingredients to make for a perfect scientist - he had a first rate mind, a driving curiosity and the will to win for the right reasons.
