Kommareddy Savitri: She was an actress, director, and producer.She appeared in Telegu,Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films.Her father died when she was six years old.Later her family moved from their madras residency to Chirravuru. She studied in Kasturbhai high school She learned music and Indian classical dance from Sistla Purnayya Sasthri, starting from the age of 8.
