Sher Singh Bahadur was the sikh maharaj of Punjab. he was the son of maharani mehtab kaur and ranjith Singh. he was born on 4 Dec 1807 in batala , a sikh empire. he became the maharaj on 27 Jan 1841. he won the throne after protracted the seige of the Lahore fort. he was married todesa kaur nakai .

Sher Singh is atwelve years old boy, but he is a very brave boy, bold, and self- sacrificing. He is fearless and courageous. By his daunting task he proves himself to be a brave son of a brave father(Sher Singh Bahadur). When he correctly took his brother Kunwar to the hospital challenging the devilry scenarios the doctor gave him the title 'Bahadur' - the title by which is father is known to the peoples of Ladwani village
