Siddhartha Gautama was born as a prince. He was shielded from the sufferings of world till the age of twenty five. While out on an hunting expenditure, he met an old man, a sick man, a funeral procession, and a monk begging for alms.

He was very moved by this and instantaneously went out in the search of enlightenment.He was concerned about the sorrows he had witnessed. He after obtaining enlightenment, began preaching.
