Suri is thin, lean boy who is very soft spoken and timid.   He is very sincere in his friendship with Somi and Rusty.   He is bespectacled which shows his love for book reading.   He takes a lot of care of Prickly Heat, Suri's dog.   He is an important character in the story ' The Room on the Roof ' by Ruskin Bond.

Answer:

He was bespectacled and owlish and possessed an almost criminal cunning. He was both respected and despised by those who knew him.It was strange to find him out of town, since his interests were confined to people and their privacies; which privacies, when known to Suri, were soon made public. He was rather shrewd and always threatened people to reveal their privacies. We can say that he was good in spying at people without getting caught. He was rather selfish because in the first chapter, he forced Somi to give him a lift and when they were going downhill, he was constantly shouting "Mummy!" which meant that he was a bit of scaredy cat. He was lean, frail and sickly looking with fair skin as he was Kashmiri. He was a liar, we can say, as he lied to the people in the car during the picnic, that he was sick and though he was not a good swimmer, he at least knew enough to keep himself from drowning.
